This custom comes from the idea that dead roam the earth with the fires in hand and try to take away with them live, is good to live so that you may fit a horrifying face with a light in order to deceive the dead. This practice also refers to the witches, who were in the remote past burned at the stake or hanged, in fact, it was thought that these wandered in the darkness of the night to claim their dead and take advantage of the greater power given to them during the night of Halloween.
Now a question ... I like to dress as for Halloween?
I would dress as a witch, a witch, but not all, but in the beautiful White Witch who has a respectable dress or that of Sleeping Beauty, more ghostly than the first.
Although in truth I'd like to dress ... ancient Roman times, with those gorgeous purple robes that wrap the body in a cloud sensual and regal, but also by those beautiful elf with pointed ears and a dress more like a stalker than a fantasy creature, saying that instead of the angel or fairy costume ... In short you need is a pair of wings, and guessed as much a trick is done, and no less fascinating for my imagination, a beautiful dress in medieval style, regal yet romantic and evocative of another era reminiscent of courtly love and chivalrous exploits of King Arthur, Robin Hood or Ivanhoe.
But Halloween is the night before November 1, the night they exorcised the fear of ghosts and goblins and then that's better and more appropriate for a nice dress as a witch or better still by vampire .. . here is perhaps I will dress as a vampire! ;-)
