What makes the success of Rocky and Rambo result so unexpected? Surely the fact that they are designed specifically for fans. That these films are made with the heart or head, of course you feel the sincere intention to respect the desire of the viewer. As for Rambo, it's no secret that fans of the series is generally a warmonger or at least someone willing to explosion, murder victims and firepower. John Rambo is this, a very thin script that tells the story of the former soldier who lives in Thailand and ferries of Doctors Without Borders in Burma, in the midst of war. These are captured by the guerrillas and a task force is sent to retrieve them. Rambo of course will do its part. 80% of the film is a disaster. Incoming shots ever seen, a brutality that is very rare for a commercial film, with endless amounts of blood. It 's definitely the episode more exploitation of the series, with acts of violence you would expect from a torture porn, but there's more. First you decide to talk about a war not cleared by the media. Incredible atrocities occurring in Burma, but since the United Nations have no financial interest in this regard, it remains outside the public interest. Putting light on the situation in Burma so truthful manner may serve to stir the conscience. Besides the point of view on the war is anything but politically correct. It 's a sincere relationship and not at all hypocritical about the situation. Doctors Without Borders have the illusion of being able to deal with the war only by peaceful means but they face the merciless guerrillas of the bush that is most abhorrent actions. In the eyes of the viewer soldiers, Rambo is the conscientious soldier or mercenary, a category are forced to face the horror day after day, losing all hope. Characters cut with the machete but merely highlights the message of the film. For all other entertainment is pure hydrogen.
