The story of Anthony Perrone (which is not my relative) is that many criminals in southern Italy, that hunger for life and money, they finished to self-destruct. When, after the attacks of Falcone and Borsellino, the state has applied the 41a for criminals, Mafia Perrone, who had arrived at the top of the Sacra Corona Unita, has seen flapping in total isolation for life. Since they had thrown away the key, he began to write his biography, Life of interior that has become the film documentary of David Barletta and Lorenzo Conte. It 's the same voiceover Perrone tells the story of his criminal. Unfortunately, it feels a bit 'too much experience documentary, narrated the events of the film are cold and not have a real emotional transport. There are a number of facts made one after the other without having a concrete weight in the scenes. All this makes clear the heavy narration of what is a noir, and then pretends rhythm and action. Yet the film is flawless, has an excellent soundtrack, well photographed and filmed, has in interpreting characters (Valentina Cervi and Claudio Santamaria), the real strength of the film, so that the dialect of Santamaria is much more credible than some overacting naive interpreters really Puglia. Besides the film does not dare to violence and sex and at first you may think that it charges for production, but when you see a front of a nude Santamaria, one wonders why not make a bit 'of salt to a story that required it. In the end everything is too anonymous and like many other reality, there is a real transfiguration of what they really are the criminals of that period and substantially Puglia you can not tell a story. Too bad really because the film had considerable potential. The two directors are now going to make a documentary on the case as seen from the viewpoint of the wife character in the film is greatly sacrificed.
