SCREENPLAY Joel & Ethan Coen, Cormac McCarthy has created an expectation
worthy of the great works and the new Coen, let us now, the best after so many shots not really well seated. The brothers, however, have now the experience and status to know that just look behind to pull off something good. Here, therefore, that based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy exploit the genre to create something dark and pessimistic, a noir western that wins, if only for the staging. The story is stark and simple, it seems Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, desperately out of place with who wins the lottery more risky in this world, steals the crime and seeks a way out of dough with the back people who wants it too hard the stolen goods. With Peckinpah, the Coens also share a vision of gray and hopeless, which is in front of terrified all'amoralità existence and the human species. Excellent performers in perfectly distributed characters that make this bitter reality each one in his own way. Tommy Lee Jones as Sheriff elderly spectator event that recognizes atrocious abomination until the state that the land has always shot well and it is he who has the deep pockets. Josh Brolin, the 'Alfredo Garcia "of the situation, trying to disappear with the loot without understanding that the deer do not ever steal the prey to the lion. The character that this film will be remembered, however, is Chigurh, a spectral Javier Bardem, who is the dark evil of the world, a killer of modern cinema's most fascinating, coldly killing, apparently with a moral dignity, but that does not only divert chance of salvation, the concept of unexpected pervading sense the film. The Coen univesale tell a story in an intelligent, violent but stylish, with a taste in the southern areas and in the names that gives the pleasure of the most professional productions of Hollywood. A film that could not be wrong.
